New owner - anyone familiar with this oil cooler? was created by Brooks McNew
Hello all!
Working on getting my coupe back in the air. It has a C75 that's been STC'd to a C85, and then STC'd again to C85 stroker. Engine hasn't run in almost 4 years but has been hangared and everything I can reach with a borescope looks pretty good - time will tell if the cam or lifters are gonna flake on me.
According to the logbooks, it once had a spin-on filter adapter that was later removed due to oil pressure concerns... which were resolved after removing the filter adapter. There's now an oil cooler in its place but I can't find any paperwork on it.
See attached photo and let me know if you are familiar with it. Any info appreciated!
P>S. There's no real baffling around this cooler but I suppose it's kind of "in the blast zone" behind & below cylinder 2...?
