Didn't anyone ever teach you not to play with used Trojans? (this also applies to T-28s)

A&P, IA, PPSEL
too many years GA and Warbird Maint

I’m 10 years older than you and I have to admit that I don’t see any similarities…

Hahaha,

Well surely you have more experience than me. Lol. I had to look up what makes a 415 CD in the type certificate section, for example.

But truly, besides lacking the two rudders, and perhaps other minor differences, I was wondering if Emigh had perhaps an intertwined past like perhaps working in building Ercoupe’s at the factory (simple minded thought, I know).

But perhaps just a coincidence.

Hello folks,

I’ll be 63 years old soon, so therefore I’m no spring chicken, but am I crazy in seen too many similarities between the Ercoupe and the Emigh Trojan A2?

Did the lineage for both aircraft ever cross paths?

thanks!

Gerry
