on the C90 the baffles made a big difference on mine, While I was fitting mine I made duplicate parts out of fiberglass for later use if needed.

I upgraded my C-75 to a C-85 with the O-200 crankshaft STC in 2006. Careful reading of TCDS 718 led us to believe the sump baffles were not required. I spoke to several experts and they agreed that those baffles do little. I have not had temperature issues with mine. It’s kind of stunning to see how much Univair charges for parts!!

Anyone have pictures of the oil sump cooling baffels installed on a C85? I have a standard Oil cooler with no oil filter and no oil sump cooling baffels Are the oil sump cooling baffles required or optional? Univair sells a kit but it cost over $1500 and I have never seen one installed.
