Sticky side windows

It worked! Finally got white lithium grease and today greased the tracks. Windows slide freely without sticking. Thanks for the suggestion.

If the welts are old they maybe balling up. With window down insp the welt for wear you may need to pop out he set to insp low welts

Some people use white lithium grease and that worked for me, but after replacing the window welts I didn't want to goop up the new ones.

I applied UHMW anti-friction tape to the edges of the windows while they were out of the tracks. The tape is on both sides and wrapped around the leading/trailing edges of the upper & lower frames, in hopes that it would prevent gouging the welts. So far it works great... maybe too good... I have to really tighten the thumb screws to hold the windows closed!

The tape is milky white and translucent. I used .75" wide tape and it's barely visible outside the welts but not noticeable unless you're looking for it.

I have a Forney with windows that are unbelievably difficult to slide up or down.  Is there something, like silicone spray, that I could add to the track to make them move more freely?
