Panel mount fuel gauge was created by Chris Carlisle
Granted fuel management is as simple as it gets in our planes. Mine has the float gauge on the header tank as always and also, a float gauge in the left main with the little glass window that reads 1/4 thru 1/1. This little thing looks foolproof but is very hard to see, esp with my old myopic eyes. I've taken to holding my Iphone down there and taking a picture of the gauge rather than contorting my neck and back sufficiently to see it. Only about 1 in 4 pictures is reliable enough to see the gauge clearly. For safety's sake, I'd like something a little more accessible.
I know I've seen 'coupes with electronic gauges on the panel but don't see any reference for them in the Univair catalog. Is anyone familiar?
Thanks,
Chris
