I run 10 P.S.I. in the nose (6.00X6) and 17 in the mains. I used to run 15 in the nose and 20 in the mains until I had a bad shimmy on landing once and I looked around and found Ercoupe Memorandum #51 where it says "The recommended tire pressures of the nose wheels are: 5.00x5 15-18 P.S.I., 6.00x6 6-10 P.S.I. Too high or too low a pressure in the nose wheel tire will increase the tendency of the nose wheel to shimmy. Caution -- the 6.00x6 main wheel tires require 17 P.S.I." I haven't had a problem since.

How much tire pressure do most people carry on a 415-C?
