The part numbers are 40487L, 40487R and 40488 and yes these are applicable to all C85 engines but not required on all C85 engines. The parts book is a list of applicable parts not a list of required equipment. The TSDS is and it only requires those baffles with the Beech prop.

The Ercoupe Parts Manual calls for 3 baffles each with it's own part number. All models with C-85 engines. I will dig out the part numbers and post them.

The extra baffles are only required with the Beech controllable prop.

The wide trim tab is not required. A trim tab is required but either the 3/4 inch o1-3/8 is acceptable.

Conversion of C75-12F to C85 was created by George Sellers
I understand that to convert my C75-12F to a C85 hp the main thing that needs to be done (besides having the correct prop) is the following:
The carb need to be changed to a 1 3/8 venturi and the metering jet to a #45 size jet.
22031-4 TRIM TAB PLATE - 1 3/8" WIDE (Required for C-85 Engine)
Have any of you had that done? If so, how do you like it? What are things to consider? Etc.
