Hard steering

My F1 is very hard steering; two hands mostly. I wonder if some other may have had this problem. Control very light in flight,
So my thinking is that something binding when nose gear loaded on the ground. Maybe something bent or worn bushing(s).
I am Very tempted to tear down the strut, but thought I’d see if other experience/ideas would be shared....
