Jack, T-a-plane Ercoupe/Alon , web site, N5488E- 1965 two control, Plus as I remember it the lower sill and a wider opening with the slider... Warren under Alon there is a 3 control so look for the Ercoupe / Alon that is where to find it. Was at FBOs an saw thin a.m. pricy so make offer P.S. I would like to fly it myself...

I know from my experience with the rudder system, it would be more of a challenge than I would want to take on. It is not like changing a coupe back that has been modified.

I think you're incorrect about removing the rudder pedals from an Alon Aircoupe. These airplanes were built as conventional 3-control airplanes. Remember, the nose wheel on an Alon is steered with the rudder pedals. So to remove these pedals, there would have to be a new connection from the yoke to the nose wheel. I have never heard of or seen an Alon without rudder pedals.
